Using chalk paint makes everything so easy! This chair really only took about 15 minutes and my son helped! Those are the best projects when kids can help. This chair required no prep and only one coat of paint. I love the shabby look because even if my kids ding it it still looks fine. Read More
Awww I love this chair especially the wicker. The color of the fabric actually wasn’t that bad either, but it was dirty and old and needed some updating. This chair was actually bought with another one for $5. That’s right I said $5, so technically it was $2.50. Read More
It’s the best when you find cute pieces of furniture for a steal! I picked up these two for a total of $5. I refinished both of the chairs in an afternoon using the same fabric and the same paint to make a cute matching yet mismatched set.

The cushion cost me about $40. This one was a bit of an investment for me due to the foam padding but I was still able to find a deal. At regular craft stores the same foam would be over $100 but I found this 3″ one for $25 at homedepot.com. Which is a steal! This will be my go to for foam from now on. Read More
Our bed frame has been broken for awhile now, and during our move we decided not to try to put it back together and build a new one that we still haven’t done so we’ve had our bed on the floor since we moved in. My baby loves it cause he can now just climb on in in the morning for snuggles. So now I had a head and foot board just sitting in my basement just waiting for me to get my hands on. My front room has been sad and empty so instead of buying some furniture for it I decided to build a cute farm bench that would fit perfect in it. Read More
